"Pleasant Car Buying Experience!"

Hi there,

Just wanted to relay to you how pleasant my car buying experience was this afternoon. I have been looking for/reseaching Honda Accords for approx. 2 months and felt that (even as a 20-something female!) I was fairly well-informed prior to coming to your dealership today. I inquired about a car online and within a few hours I was contacted by Sharon Elhalah to schedule a test drive. I didn't get back to her that day, but the next day, I received another phone call from Sharon encouraging me to come view the vehicle in person. I called back and scheduled a test drive for later that afternoon.

When I arrived to the dealership, Sanjeev Kaushik was waiting for me -- and he was unbelievably pleasant from the first handshake. I have been test driving cars and meeting sales consultants for the last few weeks and I, admittedly, had some preconceived notions. To make matters worse, my boyfriend was out of town and I was coming to the dealership as a young, solo female (against many recommendations from friends/family). Sanjeev's no pressure approach made me feel very comfortable to view and drive the cars I had interest in. He gave me honest opinions about the cars I was considering. His demeanor immediately won my trust -- I felt as if I had a cohort during this potentially stressful process. With Sanjeev's guidance, I decided to go for it (!!) and purchase a certified pre-owned 2010 Honda Accord. As this was the first time I was financing a car, it was beyond helpful that he stuck with me throughout the entire process, educating me about each step. Honestly, if Sanjeev had not been so genuine, caring, personal, etc. I would have likely left your dealership without purchasing a vehicle.

Sanjeev relied on the efforts of Tony Veal to assist me with the financing operations. I'm grateful that Tony was the finance manager that happened to work with me! It was after 5 -- I know that his scheduled hours were over, but Tony took the time to explain to me all of my options. I knew that I wanted to spend only 300 a month; Tony worked with me to not only be able to stick to that desire, but to protect my own financial investment. His help was invaluable.

All in all, thank you. For hiring honest, kind people who care about their customers. I work in a hospital in Northern Virginia that takes great stock customers' opinions, and here's to you valuing mine. I will gladly direct people to your dealership, and I plan to be a repeat customer. Kudos to Sharon, Sanjeev, and Tony. They are your strengths. "Best car-buying experience EVER!"

My name is John Revilla. My wife and I just bought a new Pilot from your dealership this past week, and I want to make sure you are aware of the team you have there at Honda of Tyson's. I'll try to be as brief as possible, but don't hold your breath!
Larry-he was my first point of contact in this process. We knew we wanted a Pilot, and Larry got us the EXACT vehicle I told him I wanted, no games. He accommodated all of my requests, and I'm a pain so that really speaks of his level of customer service! He was extremely personable, honest, and put us in the exact car we wanted for a price we were thrilled with! A+ to this gentleman from us!

Amine-I also have nothing but complete praise for this young man! From the moment we walked into your dealership Amine treated us like he genuinely enjoyed spending his time with us. He took EXTREME care in having our new Pilot ready, and parked in your garage in such a way as to be completely safe from the possibility of getting any door dings or other damage from careless passersby! We were most impressed that the car was waiting in your garage and not out in the falling snow and mess! It was beautiful when we left with it! Amine also took great care in going over all if the Pilot's features and options to ensure my wife and I were completely comfortable with the car. Through the entire process, which your team kept remarkably short I might add,  Amine was as friendly and engaging as if we were family! It may be his job, but this young man genuinely enjoys what he's doing, I can tell you that! We were most impressed!
Devin-ok, we've never purchased a car and left the finance office smiling! Again, this fine young man treated us as if we were his best friends! I honestly believe we were there longer talking everyone's ear off than the buying process took! We both have nothing but complete praise for Devin as well!
All of this may be deemed expected by you if your team, but let me assure you, this is NEVER the case, anywhere! I know I'm running on, but I wanted to make sure you knew just how impressed AND appreciative we are by the fabulous experience we had at Honda of Tyson's Corner! "5 Star Review"

I shopped around for a car for a few days and kept going back to Honda. I checked out several cars from high end to low end and the best service I got was from Acura and Honda of Tysons. Let me specify Honda of Tysons. I checked out several Hondas in the area and this one was the best. Some dealerships may think youre stupid by telling you there are no promotions or arent aware of certain promotions but clearly all you need is the internet and 3 minutes later you can pull up prices and offers. With Honda of Tysons I didnt have that issue. Although some managers are better than others (The initial experience I had was amazing and the manager seemed very geniune for a car dealer and the second manager I dealt with was the traditional car dealer who didnt bother to hide his attitude) the sales person (Steve Nitross) I dealt with was excellent. He was extremely honest and very genuine. If he didnt know something the would find out and he seemed to be a great person that wanted the best for his customers. If I ever find the need to purchase another vehicle I would absolutely give my business to him. He is an excellent person.

"Dealership went Above and Beyond"

Purchased a 2003 Toyota 4Runner. The dealership went above and beyond to make sure that the truck was in A1 mechanical condition before making the trip to Vienna from Roanoke. After quoting the price they encountered some problems while the truck was being run through the shop and the dealership had to incur over $1000 in repair costs to make it right. They stood by their original quote and even drove the truck to meet me halfway in Harrisonburg. Smoothest purchase I've ever made.

"Amazing Service"

My husband and I just bought a car at your store! We are totally impressed with the amazing service of your team! 
 
Amine is the best, he is just amazing. This is our first car in the USA and we know the process can be a headache, but Amine made it easy and simple for us, he never gave up. He did his best so we could get all approvals and the car. Amine went beyond our expectations, he knows how to deal with people and he treat customers like we have never seen before. 
 
We have been to few stores, even Honda stores and we can tell that Amine is UNIQUE. He is not only an amazing professional but also an amazing person. He was able to talk to us, understand our situation, our goals and he was able to help us during all the process.

"Well Built CRV"

I bought a 2009 CR-V at Tyson's Honda.  But it died last week when my wife rolled it on Rte. 7 and totaled it.  So, she'll get the 2004 Jetta and I'll take the Fit.  Remarkably, it's not immediately apparent that the CR-V rolled--they're that well built.  The CR-V ended up on its roof with all the airbags deployed and she was able to walk away... That says a lot about the quality.  Pictures available upon request!

Dear Mr. Walker,

I've been a Honda Pilot owner since I purchased my 2004 vehicle at your dealership in Dec. 2003.  Throughout the years, I've been a loyal customer & have praised the service I have received from Alex Garcia as well as my former advisor, Joseph Ephraim.  Since I live close by, I have utilized & appreciated the shuttle service provided by Abdul & the other drivers.

Recently, I placed a phone call to the new sales department to gather info about the 2013 Pilots.  I had the pleasure of speaking with Mary Gerrety who was not only knowledgeable, but personable & approachable.   By the end of the conversation, we had set up an appointment for me to visit the showroom this past weekend.

Upon my arrival, I was introduced to Mr. Amine Kadmiri.  He too was professional & pleasant to work with.  At no time did I feel pressured or harassed to purchase a vehicle.  I felt that he listened to me & assessed my needs as I was deciding whether or not to trade in my current vehicle as well how to pay for the new one.   Amine informed me about the 0.9% financing which sold me.    He was aware that I was a long time customer & he truly treated me like a V.I.P.    In fact all of the salespeople were very gracious & welcoming.

Upon my second visit to the showroom, we finalized the negotiations with the brief assistance of the manager  (who was also pleasant to work with ) & I was pleased to receive an additional credit as well as the roof rails I requested.  

I then spent time with Mr. Greg Maslowski signing paperwork.  Greg reviewed the various additional options with great detail & again, presented the information  without pressure.  He allowed me to think about my choices & get back to him the next day, which I did. 

I'm sure you won't mind that after my very positive experience, I posted on Facebook the wonderful service I received at your dealership.  I'm hopeful that you will recognize the exceptional employees mentioned above.

"Very Satisfied Customers"

Mr. Walker,

My wife and I bought a new Honda Accord  from Honda of Tysons Corner yesterday, and today received by mail a questionnaire  on how we feel about the experience.  I am asked to send it to a Customer Satisfaction Center address.  But both my wife and I feel that you should see our "ratings" of our buying satisfaction first (see below). Your team should make you proud...they allll did a fantastic job in making it very easy to see all there is about the Accord, helped us in negotiating  the deal, and then quickly and professionally finalized the admin part of the finance process, and finally ensuring that our every question was answered before we drove away with our new Honda!  You have the only dealership in this area I know who cares about the prospective customer, and works to find out what the best car is for them...most are just trying to move metal...we like your approach, and look forward to working with your service area as well.

I have never written to a General Manager to extol the virtues of anyone in a car purchase before.  It's usually and excruciating ordeal that I'm finally glad is over.  Your dealership is the only one of many we visited lately who actually made us feel like happy customers throughout the entire process beginning a few weeks ago when Najeem saw us looking in Accords, and not only took the initial  "go away" hint, but walked back into the showroom to get us the Accord brochure that he quietly gave us, with his card, and let us browse with alternatives.  That quiet, confident approach brought us back to look for him when we got serious.  Although we have looked at many different car makes, including just simply replacing our Acura with another one, he was the reason we bought our Honda Accord at Tysons Honda.

Usually the end of the buying process is painful when you visit the Business Office to finalize the purchase details.  You have a winner in Ardi, as he balances knowledge with good humor and makes the financial process quick, easy, and friendly.

You have a good team, and we wanted you to hear about it from very satisfied customers.  I'm still not happy that Honda discontinued building Elements, as I owned one before switching to something else,  but you've brought us back to Honda.  And my wife is more than happy with her new Accord replacement for her Acura TSX.  Of the many dealers we visited yours is the only one which truly made us welcome as customers and real people (and that was before they knew we would actually buy a car).

"Excellent Service"

Dear Mike Walker,
I have been a customer with Tyson's Honda since purchasing my Honda Accord 2008- Honda provides my car service and I want to say Thank you to Han Yoo and Alex Garcia for going above expectations for customer service last Saturday. I just dropped in Saturday without appointment to get work completed that was recommended a month ago. Han just fit me in with Alex- who like Han was completely professional- I am appreciative for that and for giving me coupons and getting me in and out in a timely manner. Han was my Service Advisor when I first purchased my Honda and he is the epitomy of outstanding professionalism. Alex on my arrival got me processed right in, answered all my questions and provided a complete concise report after my service was completed. I live over an hour drive but because of the excellent service from Han and Alex at Tyson's Honda it is worth the effort. As I did not receive a request to comment on my service I am addressing you - I want Han and Alex to get the thanks they earned.

"Absolutely Everything Right!"

Tysons Honda did absolutely everything right!  I had purchased a 2012 accord from Tyson's Honda on June 4, 2012, and it just didn't work for me. The car was too big and I was very uncomfortable and found it cumbersome to drive.  I decided that regardless of what I would lose in terms of money, I was going to get a smaller car, preferably a Honda Civic.   I returned to the dealership on September 24th.  Chris Harvey was concerned and sympathetic to my issues and said that he would arrange for me to meet with Mike Walker, the General Manager, who would make sure I was satisfied in every way.  How true!  Mr. Walker immediately said that he understood my concerns and assured me that the Accord could be returned with no difficulty and minimal financial loss and I would get the car I wanted.  Tony Gonzalez was my sales consultant, and he was absolutely great.  We spent time driving both the 2013 Accord and the 2012 Civic and Mr. Gonzalez made sure I understood all of the features of the car and was most patient answering my questions.  Once he pointed out a burgundy Civic with leather seats, I knew I had found my car.  It drives just like my lamented 1999 Accord, which is to say, beautifully.   Allen Kim in Finance was marvelous.  He took care of closing the loan from the 2012 Accord, creating the new finance stream, transferring my ding insurance, explaining the advantages of the service maintenance contract and other financial details.  It was like a dream.

I cannot tell you how pleased I am, and how appreciative I am for the service I received from everyone who helped me make the exchange.   Returning to the dealer with a three month-old car and expressing dissatisfaction about its size, could be very problematic.  I had selected the car myself, although under somewhat stressful circumstances, but nevertheless, I had purchased it.  Not once did anyone even question my decision to return the car; they immediately set out to ensure that I would find the Honda car that was best suited to me. 

I purchased my 1999 Accord from Tysons Honda and have never gone anywhere else for service.  It is an outstanding dealership.  Ryan Parton was the Red Team lead for many years until he was promoted, which he certainly deserved.  I have never felt that a service was recommended that wasn't necessary and both Ryan and Chris, the current Red Team leader, always explained why they thought something should be done.  I believe that I have always been treated fairly and with the greatest respect by everyone with whom I have dealt.   Mike Walker, Tony Gonzalez, Allen Kim, Ryan Parton and Chris Harvey are all to be highly commended for their professionalism and for their true concern for my satisfaction  - and for taking such good care of my 1999 Honda until it met its untimely end with a transmission failure.  They really seemed to care when it happened!

I look forward to a happy and satisfying relationship with Tysons Honda in the years to come.

"Great Car Buying Experience With Mr. Sanjeev Kaushik"

On 6/28/12, my wife and I purchased a 2012 Honda Accord EXL-V6 from Honda of Tysons Corner.  Mr. Sanjeev Kaushik was our sales consultant. From the time we arrived at the dealership, we found Mr. Kaushik to be welcoming, knowledgeable, and very focused on our needs and not on our wallet.  What we appreciated the most about Mr. Kaushik is that he was not aggressive in his sales approach.  We realized very quickly that, unlike sales consultants from other dealerships, his main objective was our satisfaction and not just the sale.  My wife and I are very knowledgeable and experienced car buyers.  Over the last 16 years, we've purchased vehicles from Hersons Honda, Landmark Honda, Leesburg Honda, and other dealerships in New York City and Toronto, Canada; our car buying experience with Mr. Kaushik is by far the best we've had.  On 6/28/12 at approximately 6:00 PM, my wife and I walked away from your dealership as very satisfied customers. Surprisingly, one of the least onerous of life's daily errands to run might just be having your car serviced at a reputable dealership.

Honda of Tysons Corner has figured out how to treat its customers while they wait for repairs and general service to be performed on their vehicles. Using a bit of modern technology and a tremendous dose of good old fashioned customer service, Honda helps the time pass painlessly.

First, Honda provides a user-friendly appointment scheduling system that easily allows the user to schedule service at a time that is convenient. There is no need to interrupt the day (or night) making a phone call unless you simply want or need to talk to someone about your car.

For those who need a lift to another destination while the car is in the shop, Honda provides a shuttle service both to and from the dealership so the customer is not captive unless they wish to be. The drivers are friendly, courteous and prompt, and if they're driving an automobile different from your own, you will be able to get good idea how it drives just from riding in it on your way out.

For those who prefer to stay in the customer lounge, there are two flat-screen monitors tuned to news programs, and an assortment of reading materials, including the daily newspapers. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate, a full service café, free Wi-Fi, a children's play and video area, good signage, and a quick and easy check-in and check-out all make for reasonably pleasant time waiting for your car. Even the on-site store can be tempting if you're in the market for new accessories, interior enhancements or car care items.

Saving the best for last, it must be noted how friendly, efficient and helpful the customer service personnel are. By requesting the same adviser for each visit, it is possible to build a relationship in which your adviser knows you and your car, its needs and its history. That's a bit like having a family doctor for the family car.

I just wanted to express my appreciation for all the help I received from your dealership.  After a bumpy start trying to look for a new 2012 CR-V at Rosenthal in Fairfax?I found myself driving to your Tyson's location.  I was welcomed in with open arms, and met almost immediately with Amine.  Amine was very pleasant to work with.  He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with the car, and showed me all of the wonderful features of my soon to be new car?my favorite being the center console that was roomy enough to fit my very large purse!  I never felt pressured, as I anticipated I would feel in a car dealership.  Amine truly erased any negative associations I had with car salesmen, and the whole car buying process.  It was indeed a very painless experience.  He also was more than happy to show both of my parents the vehicle one two separate occasions.  The best part of this whole experience was when I called the other night checking on the status the car I ordered.  The original car I ordered was still scheduled for the same time, which would mean I would still not receive it for another week and a half at least.  Amine had great news for me when I called.  The exact color and model I had ordered was on the lot?only with the rear entertainment system in the back.  He offered me a great deal with it that I would have been stupid to say no to, so I ended up picking up my new CR-V last night.  I could not be happier with the service I received from not only your dealership, but also Amine.  I will gladly refer anyone I know looking for a Honda to him.  Thank you again so much for taking care of me.  I am very happy to be a new member of the Honda family!

It was refreshing to being able to work with a well organized company.  Certainly not the experience we incurred the other day as discussed.  I have been in sales, sale management and owner of an ad agency during my working career. but it seems as though so many car salespeople just don't get it .  Not you of course.  I had spoken to several other Honda dealers prior to calling you and what amazes me most is the care less attitude, lack of follow up and nonsense quotes.  I would have to imagine that business must be booming and they are making tons of money.  Perhaps I should start working selling cars partime!
One would think that with the way car buying is today, these salespeople would be professionally trained and be made accountable for their actions. To give you an example, three weeks ago Maribeth and I were ready to purchase a Kia Optima.  All they wanted to do was make sure we closed the deal that day, which we said we were ready. Got a good deal and filled out the paperwork.  It became obvious that they were low balling the deal and then raised the interest rates to close to 13% which would have given the dealer a nice kickback from the lender.  When I refused the deal, within less than 1 minute the interest dropped to 6%.  Even though the deal was attractive, and after a couple of hours at the dealership, my wife and I bascially in nice words told them to put it where the sun doesn't shine.  Today, 3 weeks later, on the way home from your dealership, I received a call from the Kia salesman.(3weeks!)  So, have you decided to buy the Kia? My choice of words were not the best from me but I would have hoped he learned a valuable lesson.  Anyway, as it worked out, we now drive a CRV.  So thank you and best of luck to you and Abe.

I just wanted to drop a quick note to you about three members of your staff and the great job each of them did to assist in my purchase of a 2012 Honda Odyssey, yesterday, October 25th. I was greeted by Khalil Azmi who introduced me to my sales consultant Gregg Miah as well as assisted with the purchase order for the vehicle. Gregg did a fantastic job of explaining the vehicle and its attributes, along with the purchasing process, and the amenities that your dealership possesses. Gregg was very knowledgeable and professional about all aspects of the business, which was very refreshing. Tony Veal closed my deal and also did a very nice job. In my job In the past decade plus I have come into contact with literally thousands of dealership personnel and I must say that you should be proud to have these three men on your staff. I believe they are very good reflections on what true professionals should be. They were all knowledgeable, courteous to me and my family, and appeared truly to welcome my business. I am very glad that I made the decision to purchase a vehicle from your dealership.

On August 16, 2011, I took my S2000 to the Honda of Tysons Corner, Virginia Service Center. It's an extremely long story but several issues arose during the 2 days my car was in the shop that included Enterprise reservation issues, scheduling issues, lack of transportation, fuse outages, etc. which ultimately resulted in a lot of frustration and hours of my time wasted. The majority of the problems were caused by enterprise rental car or were just bad luck. Fortunately, Ryan Parton the Service Manager & Adam Yamamoto the Shop Foreman went above and beyond to ensure that the problems were solved and that I ultimately drove away fully satisfied with my experience. Ryan Parton demonstrated his understanding and ability to listen to the customer, solve problems, and ensure the Honda reputation is maintained to a high standard. Adam Yamamoto is extremely knowledgeable on Honda automobiles and very skilled in his trade. It is clear as to why he is the leader in the shop not only for his technical expertise but his ability to relate to the customer, provide thorough information/guidance, and ensure customer satisfaction. These two gentlemen should be applauded for their hard work and the excellent reputation they are contributing to Honda.

"Superb Team!"

I would like to take a minute to tell you how well our purchasing experience was on Saturday 01 October. Although it was raining when we arrived (somewhere around 1820/0620pm), we (my wife and I) were greeted, informed of specials and offered assistance by Khalil and Amine. We talked about what we were looking for and picked out 2 likely choices. Then, they brought the Pilots into the garage so we could look at them personally, without getting wet. Amine was knowledgeable of both the LX and EX. He really cared for what we wanted, instead of being pushy with something we didn't want. Amine was definitely committed to us every step of the way, even when the store was closed and we were finalizing the financial paperwork with Greg, Amine stayed until about 2200/1000pm! He has even called me since Saturday to ensure we are 100% happy with our purchase. Amine definitely treated us as if we were his family. Well done!

You truly have a dedicated team of experts, who know how to conduct business and treat customers as people.

We got the best deal on our Honda Pilot and our trade-in. The financial expert (Greg) ensured to lock-in a low rate for us as well as make sure we got exactly what we wanted and needed.

The staff were approachable, professional, extremely helpful and courteous. They listened to my needs, my price point, and assisted me in purchasing the perfect car for me! My last Honda was a 1997 Accord with 230,000 that a dearly loved....but it was begining to tire out :-). I keep my cars for a long time and am not a fan of dealing with new car purchases. In the past, car purchases had been a whole day unpleasant event. I have to say that Mike Walker and his team of professionals totally changed my mind on the car buying expereience. "We LOVE our new Accord!"

My wife Mary and I just want to let you know how wonderfully we were treated in all phases of leasing our 2012 Honda Accord EX-L V-6 by everyone at your dealership. Your sales manager Larry Labonte clearly explained how you guys did business and what we could expect if we leased from you. He then also found the exact Accord we were looking for when it was not in your inventory and came up with numbers that worked for us to do the deal. Your sales consultant Paul Choi originally took me on the test drive and explained everything I needed and wanted to know about the different models and features of the Accord and then agreed to pick up the car we wanted up from one of your sister dealerships and have it ready for us the next morning. This was sure fine enough. However when an glich came up on our credit check your FandI Business Manager Greg Maslowski went out of his way to explain and then correct and fix the situation for us with both he and Paul Choi coming in hours earlier than normal to make sure that everything was straightened out with the bank so we could close the deal that next day. We were even more delighted when Greg informed us while completing our paperwork that Honda of Tyson's Corner had given us two significant gifts to show appreciation for our patience in putting up with the extra time it took to come to completion with delivering our car to us. "My son's paper on his Honda Odyssey minivan"

My car, a Honda Odyssey minivan, is "the bomb."  This vehicle is my favorite car my family has ever owned.  It has great passenger capacity and is very comfortable.  I enjoy riding in the back of my minivan with my family and taking it places.  I have the benefit of using the state of the art, high definition, DVD and entertainment system and sit in the soft, squishy, leather seats.  While we are driving around town, I like a car that looks cool and that people think, "wow" when they see it.  Another great feature is that my minivan is a top safety rated vehicle that makes me feel very safe when my family drives around.
            In addition to all of the great luxury items, the Honda Odyssey minivan runs remarkably and has a very smooth ride.  This fine tuned machine has never seen the inside of a repair shop.  Secondly, the car gets great gas mileage.  My family rarely spends money on gas because the Honda Odyssey minivan has a fuel efficient, four-cylinder, high output, aluminum block engine.
            My minivan provides many important necessities.  Some of my favorite features include a large cargo space area.  This spacious cargo area allows my family to put many items including sporting goods, groceries, and most over sized items my mom brings home from Costco.
            The above features of my Honda Odyssey minivan are the reasons why my family's next car will be another Honda Odyssey minivan.
